আরএসএসের (RSS) শতবর্ষ পূর্তি উপলক্ষে নাগপুরে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে সংগঠনের যাত্রাপথের কথা তুলে ধরলেন সঙ্ঘপ্রধান (RSS) মোহন ভাগবত (Mohan Bhagwat)। মঙ্গলবার বিজয়া দশমী উপলক্ষে রেশিমবাগ ময়দানে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে সন্ত রবিদাস, স্বামী শ্রদ্ধানন্দ এবং স্বামী লক্ষ্মণানন্দ সরস্বতীর অবদানের কথা স্মরণ করেন তিনি(Mohan Bhagwat)।
ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস, সামাজিক সম্প্রীতি এবং ধর্মীয় মূল্যবোধ রক্ষায় তাঁদের ভূমিকার কথা উল্লেখ করে ভাগবত বলেন আত্মসচেতনতা জাগিয়ে তোলা এবং ভারতের ঐক্য ও স্বতন্ত্র পরিচয়কে আরও শক্তিশালী করার ক্ষেত্রে তাঁদের আদর্শ আজও প্রাসঙ্গিক।
ধর্মীয় মূল্যবোধ রক্ষায় আত্মত্যাগের জন্য স্বামী শ্রদ্ধানন্দ এবং স্বামী লক্ষ্মণানন্দ সরস্বতীর প্রতিও শ্রদ্ধা জানান ভাগবত। তিনি বলেন, স্বধর্ম রক্ষার জন্য যাঁরা নিজেদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছেন, তাঁদের স্মরণ করা বিশেষ তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ।

আর্য সমাজের বিশিষ্ট সন্ন্যাসী, শিক্ষাবিদ, শুদ্ধি আন্দোলনের নেতা এবং স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামী স্বামী শ্রদ্ধানন্দের আত্মত্যাগের ১০০ বছর পূর্ণ হওয়ার কথা উল্লেখ করেন তিনি। পাশাপাশি, ওড়িশার আদিবাসী সমাজের সেবায় জীবন উৎসর্গ করা স্বামী লক্ষ্মণানন্দ সরস্বতীর জন্মশতবর্ষের কথাও তুলে ধরেন সঙ্ঘপ্রধান।

অনুষ্ঠানে ‘পঞ্চপরিবর্তন’-এর প্রসঙ্গও উত্থাপন করেন ভাগবত। আত্মসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং স্বদেশি পণ্য ও ভাবনার গ্রহণযোগ্যতা বাড়ানোকে এর অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক বলে উল্লেখ করেন তিনি।
সংবিধানের প্রস্তাবনার কথা উল্লেখ করে ভাগবত বলেন, সেখানে ‘আমরা, ভারতের জনগণ’ কথাটির মধ্যেই দেশের মানুষের সম্মিলিত পরিচয় ও আত্মসচেতনতার প্রতিফলন রয়েছে।

আরএসএসের শতবর্ষ উদ্যাপনের সমাপ্তি বর্ষের অংশ হিসেবে নাগপুরের রেশিমবাগ ময়দানে এই বিজয়া দশমী অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রিত অতিথিদের মধ্যে ছিলেন প্রাক্তন উপরাষ্ট্রপতি জগদীপ ধনখড় এবং পশ্চিম ভারতের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত মুম্বইয়ে নিযুক্ত ইজরায়েলের কনসাল জেনারেল। প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন দৈনিক জাগরণের প্রধান সম্পাদক সঞ্জয় গুপ্ত।

এছাড়া অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মহারাষ্ট্রের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী দেবেন্দ্র ফড়নবীশ, কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী নিতিন গড়করি, মহারাষ্ট্রের রাজস্বমন্ত্রী চন্দ্রশেখর বাওয়ানকুলে এবং আরএসএসের শীর্ষস্থানীয় আধিকারিকেরা।
উল্লেখ্য, ১৯২৫ সালের বিজয়া দশমীর দিন নাগপুরে কেশব বলিরাম হেডগেওয়ারের হাতে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল রাষ্ট্রীয় স্বয়ংসেবক সঙ্ঘ। প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে প্রতি বছরই বিজয়া দশমী উপলক্ষে সংগঠনের বার্ষিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজনত হয়ে আসছে। চলতি বছর সংগঠনটি ১০০ বছর পূর্ণ করেছে।
