খারাপ আবহাওয়ার জেরে রাঁচির বিরসা মুণ্ডা বিমানবন্দরে ব্যাহত হয় বিমান পরিষেবা। শুক্রবার বাতিল হয়েছে ইন্ডিগোর ১২ জোড়া অর্থাৎ মোট ২৪টি উড়ান। কলকাতা, দিল্লি, মুম্বাই, বেঙ্গালুরু, হায়দরাবাদ, পুণে, আহমেদাবাদ ও পাটনার সঙ্গে রাঁচির বিমান যোগাযোগের একাধিক উড়ান বাতিল হয়েছে। এর ফলে বিপাকে পড়েন বহু যাত্রী। যদিও বাতিল হওয়া উড়ানগুলি ফের কখন চলাচল শুরু করবে তা জানতে যাত্রীদের বিমানসংস্থার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করার অনুরোধ জানানো হয়। এর পাশাপাশি এদিন প্রতিকূল আবহাওয়ার কারণে লখনউ থেকেও বিমান পরিষেবাও ব্যাহত হয়।
ইন্ডিগোর তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর রাঁচির প্রতিকূল আবহাওয়ার কারণেই উড়ানগুলি বাতিল করতে হয়। বাতিল হওয়া উড়ানগুলির মধ্যে ছিল কলকাতা-রাঁচি-কলকাতা, পুণে-রাঁচি-বেঙ্গালুরু, হায়দরাবাদ-রাঁচি-হায়দরাবাদ এবং মুম্বাই-রাঁচি-মুম্বাই রুটের পরিষেবা। এছাড়া দিল্লি-রাঁচি-দিল্লি, আহমেদাবাদ-রাঁচি-পাটনা, পাটনা-রাঁচি-আহমেদাবাদ এবং বেঙ্গালুরু-রাঁচি-পুণে রুটের কয়েকটি উড়ানও বাতিল হয়।

বাতিল হওয়া পরিষেবাগুলির মধ্যে ছিল কলকাতা-রাঁচি-কলকাতা রুটের সিক্সই ৭৫৬১ ও সিক্সই ৭৫৬২, পুণে-রাঁচি-বেঙ্গালুরু রুটের সিক্সই ৬৪৮৪ ও সিক্সই ৬৭৯৯, হায়দরাবাদ-রাঁচি-হায়দরাবাদ রুটের সিক্সই ৪২১ ও সিক্সই ৩৯৮ এবং মুম্বাই-রাঁচি-মুম্বাই রুটের সিক্সই ৬০৮৭ ও সিক্সই ৬০৮৮।

শুধু ইন্ডিগো নয়, আবহাওয়ার কারণে অন্য বিমান সংস্থার পরিষেবাতেও প্রভাব পড়ে। এয়ার ইন্ডিয়া এক্সপ্রেসের দিল্লি-রাঁচি উড়ান আইএক্স ১০৪৬-এর রাঁচিতে পৌঁছনোর কথা ছিল শুক্রবার সকাল ৮টা ৪০ মিনিটে। কিন্তু সেটি পৌঁছয় প্রায় সকাল ১০টায়। ফলে রাঁচি থেকে দিল্লির ফিরতি উড়ানও নির্ধারিত সময়ের প্রায় দু’ঘণ্টা পরে ছাড়ে।

বিমান সংস্থার তরফে যাত্রীদের বিমানবন্দরে যাওয়ার আগে নিজেদের উড়ানের সর্বশেষ পরিস্থিতি জেনে নিতে বলা হয়েছে। আবহাওয়ার পরিস্থিতির উপর নির্ভর করে উড়ানের সময়সূচিতে আরও পরিবর্তন হতে পারে বলেও জানানো হয়েছে।
